La Jolla Playhouse
[Commercial]

Neal’s very own Stan Milberger, Project Manager, headed the La Jolla Playhouse project with Lorenzo Burton as the lead foreman on site. The contract exceeded $2 million in electrical work when completed. In just over 1500 man-hours, Lorenzo and his crew installed over 70 different light fixtures in the theatre and surrounding buildings. The majority of the lighting in theatre was installed above a tension grid. Neal spent over 9000 hours installing conduit. The exterior brickwork brings uniqueness and a special feel to the building at first site. Careful coordination with the masonry contractor and the non-square versus plumb walls created a challenge for the crew install devices, panels, and conduit. The Neal Electric crew carefully managed the Audio/Video subcontractor to provide a complex audio/video system for a flexible theatre. Hard work, dedication, and close communication allowed this project to come in on schedule and within budget.
