The groundbreaking ceremony for the Herbert Ibarra Elementary School commenced on May 4, 2004 in City Heights. The design build project will result in four two-story buildings that will cover the 56,000 square feet campus and will include 32 classrooms, a library, multipurpose room, administrative center, as well as 90 trees, soccer and baseball fields and energy efficient design features.
