This new 111,548 square-foot, $26 million charter school is located at 2000 North Santa Fe Ave. on 16.3 acres in the Vista Unified School District. It comprises four two-story buildings around a circular, split-level campus. Two of the buildings provide three learning centers; a third building houses the art and fitness center with a formal lobby, main basketball/activity space, video and art studios. The fourth building is the student support/media center with the main reception and administrative service areas, library, staff workplaces and a student exhibition hall. The school houses 1,400 students in grades 6 – 12 and had been operating out of portable buildings for the past nine years.
